Whistleblowing

SERVICE TRADE is committed to always operating ethically and responsibly, and asks everyone it works with to do the same.

What to report

SERVICE TRADE strongly encourages directors, control bodies, freelancers and consultants, volunteers (including unpaid ones) and its employees to report any improper, dishonest or potentially illegal activity – potential, highly probable or already committed – as well as any behaviour that may cause damage or prejudice, including to the company’s reputation. To this end, SERVICE TRADE has implemented specific rules and a whistleblowing process in accordance with Legislative Decree 24/2023, providing potential whistleblowers with secure channels that guarantee the confidentiality of their identity and of the information in the report, and their protection against retaliation.

What not to report

Reports other than those described above will not be handled, specifically those linked to personal interests, clearly unfounded news, information that is already entirely in the public domain, and information acquired solely on the basis of unreliable rumours or hearsay (so-called “corridor talk”).

After the report is received

The whistleblowing process consists of the following stages:

  1. 01Receipt of reports
  2. 02Preliminary assessment of relevance
  3. 03Investigation
  4. 04Closure of reports

The Report Manager reviews the reports received to verify the facts described. The results of the investigation and the proposed prevention/mitigation/penalty measures are then submitted to the Board of Directors.
